Started as a “once off” side project, IlianA has become a small phenomenon in the Belgian and Dutch medieval and alternative folk scene in only a few months.
With musicians Lucile and Dom (AumgaiA), Couss (Tator, Les Légendes du Temps), Luka and Mich (both former members of Omnia), they are sharing their Tribal Folk Music at many festivals, shamanic events and private parties, as long as the place is ready to welcome the long forgotten creatures awoken by their musical universe and to listen to all the stories they have to tell.
Flutes, guitar, drums, violin, the sound of the didgeridoo and most of all the heavenly voice of Lucile will open the gates to a land where the smell of the dark forests of the Ardennes meets the colour of the Irish fields, the freshness of the Nordic fjords, the timeless shapes of Balkan mountains, the enchanting vibes of the Reunion Island and the eternity of the Southern Deserts’ sands of Niger.
